INGREDIENTS:
1 lb. ground turkey
1/ C. bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. dried Italian seasoning
1-2 cloves garlic - finely minced
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 C. grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 c. shredded Italian cheese blend
1 egg
1/2 tsp. dried parsley
1/2 small onion - grated
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 C. pasta sauce
Preheat oven 350 degrees. Lightly
grease a loaf pan with cooking spray, set aside. In large bowl, combine turkey,
egg, breadcrumbs, parsley, oregano, Italian seasoning, garlic, onion, salt,
pepper and Parmesan cheese. Do not over handle the mixture or it will get
tough. Place mixture in greased loaf pan and form into loaf. Top the meatloaf
with pasta sauce. Bake 40 - 45 minutes.
*When frozen, bake uncovered for 55
- 60 minutes on a baking sheet. Remove the meatloaf from the oven and sprinkle
the top with remaining cheese. Place the meatloaf back in the oven and bake
until cheese is melted. Remove the meatloaf from the oven and allow to rest 5 -
10 minutes before serving.
I'm going to need to double this recipe! My family loved it!
